Within the project “MOZOKCĪŅA”, 7 informal leisure activities were implemented – themed erudition games in various cultural venues. Each visit to a cultural venue provided its own story, while the games promoted the integration of Ukrainian civilians, especially young people, into Latvian society in the fields of culture, education, and history. Participants had the opportunity to gain new knowledge and apply it in practice by answering various questions. This required not only using new information, but also applying existing knowledge and logic to arrive at the correct answers. This approach popularized socially significant values and encouraged intellectual competition, creating participants’ interest in the topics. All activities took place in Latvian with translation into Ukrainian. Teamwork required both cooperation within one’s own community and communication with local residents in a friendly and supportive environment.
